Figma-to-Storybook workflows

Key Responsibilities:

• Collaborate closely with UI/UX designers to translate Figma designs into

  pixel-perfect

  ,

  responsive UI components

• Build reusable components and libraries using

  React

  ,

  TypeScript

  , and

  Next.js

  and document them in Storybook.


• Ensure design consistency and scalability by adhering to established design systems and tokens.

• Maintain alignment between the

  design system in Figma

  and the component library in Storybook.
• Write clean, maintainable, and testable code following modern front-end best practices.
• Work with cross-functional teams to integrate front-end components into larger application ecosystems.
• Identify and address UI/UX inconsistencies or technical constraints early in the development cycle.
• Excellent communication skills and ability to collaborate across disciplines.

Requirements:

• 3+ years of experience in front-end development with proficiency in

  HTML, CSS/SCSS

  , JavaScript, and TypeScript.


• Strong hands-on experience with React, Next.js, or similar frameworks.


• Proven experience building and maintaining

  Storybook component libraries

  .


• Strong proficiency in Figma, including understanding of design systems, auto-layout, and design tokens.


• Familiarity with Git and version control workflows.


• Solid understanding of accessibility (WCAG) and responsive design principles.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Knowledge of front-end JavaScript frameworks (React, Vue, or Angular).


• Style components using

  Bootstrap and React Bootstrap

  or

  Tailwind CSS

  , based on project requirements or team standards.


• Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments.

• Knowledge of unit testing libraries (Jest, React Testing Library) and visual regression testing.
• Experience contributing to or managing a design system at scale.
