Front-End Engineer - Founding Team

As a Front-End Engineer at Praan Health, you will play a crucial role in building the front-end foundation for a chronic care platform that aims to improve the lives of aging parents without lifelong medication. You will have the opportunity to work in a high-ownership environment, solve challenging healthcare problems, and contribute to a platform that could impact millions of lives. **Role Overview:** You will lead the development of web and mobile apps for the chronic care ecosystem, collaborating closely with the founding team to iterate rapidly on MVP features. Your responsibilities will include owning design-to-deploy across the front-end stack, working with backend, AI, and product teams to deliver real-world solutions, and contributing to shaping the engineering culture and team structure. **Key Responsibilities:** - Lead development of web and mobile apps for the chronic care ecosystem - Rapidly iterate on MVP features in collaboration with the founding team - Own design-to-deploy process across the front-end stack - Collaborate with backend, AI, and product teams to deliver practical solutions - Contribute to shaping engineering culture, best practices, and team structure **Qualifications Required:** - 3+ years of hands-on front-end development experience with modern, performant interfaces - Startup experience, including building v0 to v1 products - Strong product mindset with a focus on UX - Ability to balance scrappy execution with scalable architecture - Independence in decision-making and collaboration in a small cross-functional team - Passion for health, longevity, or healthcare **Nice-to-Haves:** - Experience with TypeScript, Tailwind CSS, Expo, or Next.js - Exposure to healthcare, fitness, or AI-driven platforms - Ability to collaborate cross-functionally with designers, AI researchers, and coaches In addition to a competitive salary ranging from 10-15L depending on experience, you will receive meaningful ESOPs, high autonomy, and the opportunity to work closely with a tight-knit founding team.
