Freelance WordPress Developer (Design & UI/UX Focus)

This is a remote position.

• Develop and customize WordPress websites, themes, and plugins.
• Convert mockups, wireframes, or requirements into responsive and visually appealing web pages.
• Implement UI/UX best practices to ensure a polished user experience.
• Optimize websites for speed, SEO, and mobile responsiveness.
• Test and review deliverables to reduce errors and rework.
• Communicate effectively with the project manager and follow structured workflows.

Responsibilities

Requirements

• 3+ years of proven experience as a WordPress Developer.
• Strong knowledge of HTML, CSS, JavaScript/jQuery, and PHP.
• Hands-on experience with page builders (Elementor, WPBakery, Gutenberg).
• Good understanding of SEO basics in WordPress (meta fields, schema, Rank Math/Yoast).
• Strong eye for design and detail, with the ability to implement UI/UX improvements.
• Familiarity with design tools (Figma, Canva, or Adobe XD).
• Good communication skills in English.
• Available to work as a freelancer for 10–15 hours per week, with scope to increase based on project needs.
