Founding AI Engineer

Key Responsibilities

• Build and optimize document processing pipelines for

  unstructured and semi-structured data

• Design and implement intelligent extraction systems using

  LLMs, OCR, and NLP techniques

• Design and refine pipelines that apply large language models (LLMs) to extract, structure, and validate information from construction documents, and free-text project documents

• Prototype, evaluate, and optimize

  techniques for information extraction, entity linking, data normalization, and confidence scoring
• Apply

  RAG (retrieval-augmented generation)

  and embedding-based search across large document sets
• Work with tools such as

  LangChain, CrewAI, Hugging Face, PyMuPDF, Tesseract, or Amazon Textract

• Integrate and fine-tune LLMs (e.g.,

  OpenAI GPT-4, Claude, Mistral

  ) for domain-specific understanding
• Set up

  vector search

  and memory frameworks (e.g., FAISS, Pinecone) for contextual recall

• Deploy and iterate on systems

  for prompt tuning, relevance evaluation, and performance tracking across varied document types and project datasets
• Collaborate with product and engineering teams to embed document intelligence into core workflows
• Ensure accuracy, scalability, and observability of models in production 

• Bridge the gap between research and production

  , transforming prototypes into scalable, production-ready AI components

Required Skills & Qualifications

• 2+ years

  of experience in AI/ML with a strong focus on

  Information extraction from pdf documents

• Proven experience working with

  PDFs, scanned documents, structured and unstructured formats

• Hands-on with

  LLMs, embeddings, prompt engineering, OCR, and NLP libraries

• Proficient in Python and frameworks such as PyTorch, Hugging Face Transformers, or LangChain
• Experience building scalable inference pipelines and optimizing LLM performance
• Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to thrive in fast-paced, high-ownership environments
• Ability to work independently with attention to detail and take full ownership
• Strong communication and collaboration in agile cross-functional teams
• Passion for delivering high-quality, reliable, and scalable solutions
