Key Responsibilities:

Loss Mitigation

• Review delinquent accounts to determine eligibility for loss mitigation options.
  
• Analyze borrower financial documents and hardship letters to recommend repayment plans, forbearance, loan modifications, short sales, or deeds-in-lieu.
  
• Communicate with borrowers to collect documentation, explain programs, and negotiate solutions.
  
• Prepare and submit complete workout packages in accordance with investor, insurer, and regulatory requirements.
  

Bankruptcy

• Monitor accounts in active bankruptcy (Ch. 7, 11, 12, 13) to ensure compliance with all legal and regulatory guidelines.
  
• Review and process bankruptcy filings, motions, reaffirmations, proofs of claim, and plan payments.
  
• Coordinate with bankruptcy attorneys, trustees, and court officials to ensure timely responses and accurate documentation.
  
• Update internal systems with stay statuses, payment changes, dismissals, discharges, and court actions.
  

Foreclosure

• Manage the foreclosure process from referral to sale, ensuring timelines meet investor and regulatory expectations.
  
• Collaborate with attorneys, title companies, and internal teams to review documents, ensure accuracy, and resolve title or legal issues.
  
• Monitor foreclosure milestones, court dates, publication requirements, and sale schedules.
  
• Communicate with borrowers, when permitted, to explore alternatives to foreclosure.
