Finance Controller

As a Finance Controller (Cost Accountant) at our Manufacturing company located in Howrah - Salkia, you will play a crucial role in analyzing and managing the costs of the organization. Your key responsibilities will include: - Developing and maintaining cost accounting systems and practices. - Analyzing cost data to identify cost-saving opportunities. - Monitoring and controlling manufacturing and operational costs. - Preparing, analyzing, and managing budgets and forecasts. - Collaborating with departments to ensure budget adherence. - Analyzing inventory valuations and ensuring accurate reporting. - Conducting periodic physical inventory audits and reconciliations. - Preparing cost reports, margin analysis, and variance analysis. - Assisting in preparing management reports and presentations. - Ensuring compliance with accounting standards, policies, and tax regulations. - Supporting internal and external audits related to cost accounting. - Recommending and implementing process improvements to enhance cost-efficiency. - Developing and refining accounting procedures and controls. Qualifications: - Education: ICWA certification is preferred. - Experience: 5 years of experience in cost accounting or related roles. Technical Skills: - Proficiency in cost accounting. Soft Skills: - Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities. - Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Key Competencies: - Attention to detail and accuracy. - Strong organizational skills. - Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team. - Strategic thinking and decision-making.
