Finance Controller

Role Overview

We are looking for a highly skilled Finance Controller to lead our financial operations with a strong focus on collections (B2B & B2C), financial planning, and compliance. The ideal candidate will have experience in managing receivables, optimizing cash flow, and driving strategic financial initiatives in a fast-paced startup environment.

Responsibilities:

Collections & Receivables Management

? Lead and optimize B2B & B2C collections processes to improve cash flow.

? Develop strategies to reduce outstanding dues and minimize bad debts.

? Build strong relationships with clients to ensure timely payments and resolve disputes.

? Work closely with sales and operations teams to streamline invoicing and collections.

Financial Planning & Analysis

? Oversee budgeting, forecasting, and financial reporting.

? Monitor financial performance, key metrics, and variances to drive informed decision-making.

? Ensure efficient working capital management and cash flow optimization.

Accounting & Compliance

? Ensure compliance with Indian accounting standards (Ind-AS), GST, and other financial

regulations.

? Manage audits, tax filings, and statutory reporting requirements.

? Maintain strong internal controls and risk management frameworks.

Stakeholder & Team Management

? Collaborate with senior leadership to drive financial strategy and business growth.

? Lead and mentor finance team members to enhance operational efficiency.

? Partner with external auditors, banks, and financial institutions.

Reporting

? Close monthly books of accounts and prepare MIS for investors

? Manage Investors relations

Preferred Skills & Experience:

? Chartered Accountant (CA) qualification is mandatory.

? 5-10 years of experience in finance, collections, and controllership roles.

? Strong expertise in B2B & B2C collections, receivables management, and credit control.

? Prior experience working in a startup environment is preferred.

? Proficiency in financial planning, MIS reporting, and cash flow management.

? Knowledge of accounting principles, taxation, and compliance regulations.

? Strong analytical skills and ability to work in a fast-paced, high-growth environment.

? Excellent stakeholder management and negotiation skills.
