Position Overview:

We are seeking a Senior Finance & Accounts Manager who can independently manage the full accounting and finance function of the company. This includes everything from TDS, GST, compliance, and audit handling to team leadership and financial planning.

Ideal candidates will come from a finance and accounts background, with strong knowledge of Indian taxation laws, experience in FMCG or trading businesses, and a disciplined, hands-on approach.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Handle end-to-end accounting operations, from journal entries to finalization of accounts
  • Ensure timely and accurate filing of TDS, GST, PF/ESIC, and other statutory returns
  • Lead monthly, quarterly, and yearly financial reporting
  • Manage internal and external audits
  • Supervise and guide the accounts team (2–4 members)
  • Maintain proper documentation and ensure compliance with company policies and statutory laws
  • Oversee vendor payments, receivables, cash flow, and reconciliations
  • Coordinate with external CA, tax consultants, and legal advisors
  • Ensure timely payroll processing and employee reimbursements

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Finance, Commerce, or Accounting
  • Minimum 7–10 years of relevant experience, preferably in FMCG, trading, or distribution sectors
  • Strong working knowledge of Tally, MS Excel, and accounting software
  • In-depth knowledge of TDS, GST, Income Tax, ROC filing, compliance laws
  • Ability to handle audits independently
  • Excellent communication and documentation skills
  • Disciplined, punctual, honest, and self-driven
  • Prior experience in team handling is a must

Preferred Background:

  • Candidates from a finance and accounts background only
  • Experience working in FMCG, distribution, or trading companies
  • Leadership ability with a detail-oriented and hands-on work style
