Field Service Engineer

We are looking for a skilled and dedicated Service Engineer to handle installation, maintenance, and repair of industrial and commercial cleaning machines. The candidate will ensure high-quality service, customer satisfaction, and smooth functioning of all cleaning equipment including scrubber driers, vacuum cleaners, sweepers, and other related machines.

Job Summary:

We are looking for a skilled and dedicated Service Engineer to handle installation, maintenance, and repair of industrial and commercial cleaning machines. The candidate will ensure high-quality service, customer satisfaction, and smooth functioning of all cleaning equipment including scrubber driers, vacuum cleaners, sweepers, and other related machines.

Key Responsibilities:

• Installation, commissioning, and demonstration of cleaning machines at client sites.
• Perform preventive and corrective maintenance of machines (scrubber driers, vacuum cleaners, sweepers, high-pressure jets, etc.).
• Troubleshoot technical issues and ensure timely repairs to minimize downtime.
• Maintain service records, prepare reports, and update warranty/AMC details.
• Provide training and guidance to customers on proper machine usage and basic maintenance.
• Ensure availability and replacement of spare parts and consumables.
• Coordinate with the service team and report escalated issues to senior engineers/management.
• Follow safety standards and company guidelines during all service activities.
• Support in product testing, feedback collection, and improvements.

Required Skills & Competencies:

• Strong technical knowledge of electrical, mechanical, and electronic systems.
• Hands-on experience with industrial/commercial cleaning machines (preferred).
• Ability to diagnose faults and carry out repairs efficiently.
• Good communication and customer handling skills.
• Problem-solving attitude and ability to work independently.
• Basic knowledge of MS Office for service reporting.
• Willingness to travel for onsite service calls.

Qualifications:

• Diploma/ITI/B.E. in Electrical Engineering.
• 1–3 years of experience in service/maintenance (cleaning equipment industry preferred).
• Freshers with good technical knowledge may also be considered.
