Field Service Engineer

• Overall responsibility for on-site service job execution and completion with satisfaction to customer.
• Troubleshooting & Repairing of Valves & Actuators and allied Instruments at site.
• Perform Annual Maintenance Contract as per customer requirement.
• Identify KOB-3 Business opportunity during the site visit.
• Ensure executing services in accordance with Emerson Standard procedures and operations are carried out within time schedule.
• Prepare detailed site visit report / MOM and arrange signed off from customer after completion of each job.
• Perform RCCM at site in case of failure & report to Service Manager.
• Promptly respond to customer s queries and complaints, bringing up when necessary and ensuring that corrective action is taken by own organization and by customer organization.
• Ensure Emerson Quality Management System and Procedures / Work Instructions are followed, and standards are maintained.
• Provide technical assistance and support to internal customers like Project Engineering Team, Order Management Team, Sales and Marketing Team, Manufacturing and Operations Team on demand basis.
• Keep up-to-date knowledge on new services and product offered by Emerson Control Valves Division (FCV).

For This Role, You Will Need:

• Knowledge of Control Valves, On/Off Valves, Positioners, Valve Automation Instrumentation, Level trol/Level Transmitter.
• Minimum 5+ years hands-on experience in Valves and Automation Industry.
• Knowledge of dimensional measurement & Instrument handling skills.
• Familiar with Valve automation assembly & various parts involved in Valve automation such as Positioners, SOV, Limit Switches, Switching Valves, Trip Valves, Air Lock Relays etc.

Preferred Qualifications That Set You Apart:

• Knowledge of various Valve standards such as ANSI, ASME, API, FCI 70-2, etc.
• Hands of Experience in Globe Valves, Butterfly Valves, Ball Valves, Actuators Assembly, Testing & Servicing.
