📌 Job Title: Telecom Field Engineer 🛠️ Key Responsibilities Installation & Configuration: Set up telecom equipment such as routers, switches, antennas, and fiber optic cables. Maintenance & Repairs: Perform routine maintenance and emergency repairs on telecom hardware and software. Testing & Troubleshooting: Conduct signal testing, network diagnostics, and resolve connectivity issues. Documentation: Maintain accurate records of installations, service reports, and technical documentation. Customer Support: Interface with clients to provide technical support and ensure service satisfaction. Compliance: Ensure all work complies with industry standards, safety regulations, and company policies. 🧠 Required Skills & Qualifications Education: Diploma or Bachelor's in Telecommunications, Electronics, or related field. Technical Skills: Knowledge of IP networking, RF systems, fiber optics, and telecom protocols. Certifications (Preferred): CCNA, CompTIA Network+, or vendor-specific telecom certifications. Soft Skills: Strong communication, problem-solving, and time management abilities. Mobility: Willingness to travel frequently and work in outdoor or remote environments. 🧰 Tools & Technologies Network analyzers, signal testers, spectrum analyzers Telecom software platforms (e.g., OSS/BSS systems) GPS and mapping tools for site surveys 💼 Work Environment Field-based role with frequent travel to installation or maintenance sites May involve climbing towers, working in confined spaces, or exposure to weather conditions 💰 Compensation & Benefits Competitive salary based on experience and location Travel allowances, health insurance, and performance bonuses Opportunities for training and certification Please Note: 2 wheelers (bike/scooty) are required for this job.
