Job Title: Front-End Development (FED) Lead - Web Vitals Location Remote/Offshore Experience: 8+ Years Employment Type: Full-time Role Overview: We are looking for an experienced Front-End Development Lead with a strong focus on Web Vitals and performance optimization. The ideal candidate will lead front-end initiatives, ensuring our web applications deliver exceptional performance, accessibility, and user experience across all platforms. Key Responsibilities: Lead a team of front-end developers to deliver high-quality, performance-driven web applications. Own and improve Core Web Vitals (LCP, CLS, FID, INP) and overall site performance metrics. Implement performance optimization strategies such as code splitting, lazy loading, image optimization, and caching. Collaborate closely with UX/UI, Backend, and DevOps teams to ensure seamless end-to-end performance. Conduct performance audits using tools like Lighthouse, WebPageTest, Chrome DevTools, and PageSpeed Insights. Define and enforce front-end best practices, coding standards, and CI/CD integration for performance testing. Mentor junior developers and conduct code reviews. Stay updated on the latest trends and technologies in front-end performance and web development. Required Skills Experience: Strong proficiency in HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript (ES6+), and modern frameworks like React.js, Next.js, or Angular. Deep understanding of Web Vitals, browser rendering, and performance optimization techniques. Experience with Webpack, Rollup, Vite, or other bundlers for performance tuning. Hands-on with browser caching, CDN strategies, and image optimization techniques. Familiarity with Core Web Vitals monitoring tools (New Relic, Datadog, SpeedCurve, etc.). Experience with RESTful APIs, GraphQL, and integration with backend systems. Knowledge of accessibility (WCAG) and SEO-friendly front-end practices. Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills. Preferred Qualifications: Experience working in large-scale, high-traffic web applications. Understanding of SSR (Server-Side Rendering) and Static Site Generation (SSG) principles. Familiarity with Service Workers, PWA concepts, and advanced caching mechanisms. Exposure to TypeScript and CI/CD pipelines.
