As a Coordinator UX/UI and Interaction Design at K.R. Mangalam University, your role involves leading and managing the B.Des. program in UX/UI and Interaction Design. You are expected to have a strong understanding of user-centered design, interaction principles, and proficiency in industry-standard software and prototyping tools. Your responsibilities include academic leadership, curriculum development, and mentoring faculty and students to achieve industry-relevant learning outcomes. Key Responsibilities: - Lead academic planning, curriculum alignment, and student engagement activities - Teach core courses in UX research, UI design, interaction design, and prototyping - Guide students in real-world projects, internships, and portfolio development - Integrate software training into design pedagogy to meet current industry demands - Foster collaborations with industry partners and organize guest lectures/workshops - Support faculty development and academic operations of the program Key Skills & Competencies: - Proficiency in tools such as Figma, Adobe XD, Sketch, InVision, Axure, and Webflow - Strong understanding of user research, information architecture, wireframing, and usability testing - Working knowledge of HTML/CSS, responsive design, and basic front-end frameworks - Familiarity with interaction design for web, mobile, and emerging interfaces - Ability to manage teams, coordinate cross-functional activities, and effectively mentor students Qualifications: - Masters degree in Interaction Design, Communication Design, HCI, or related field (Preferred) - 5+ years of relevant academic/industry experience in UX/UI and interaction design - Strong portfolio showcasing UX processes, UI systems, and interactive prototypes - Excellent communication, organizational, and leadership skills,
