Key Responsibilities
Manage, configure, and maintain F5 LTM, GTM, ASM, APM, and Viprion
systems (versions 12+).
Lead and execute data center migration projects, including planning and
implementing F5 migrations across multiple sites with minimal application
impact.
Develop, deploy, and maintain iRules and Virtual IPs (VIPs) to optimize
performance, enhance security, and meet business requirements.
Perform impact assessments for changes to F5 infrastructure and coordinate
with application teams to resolve risks or dependencies.
Partner with network engineers, application developers, and other technical
teams to design, implement, and troubleshoot F5 solutions.
Deploy monitoring tools and performance strategies to ensure system health,
reliability, and availability.
Create and maintain detailed technical documentation, including
configurations, processes, and best practices.
Ensure F5 environments meet organizational security policies and industry
compliance standards.
Mentor junior engineers and provide training to internal teams on F5 technologies
and best practices.
Qualification
Proven hands-on experience with F5 BIG-IP technologies (LTM, GTM/DNS,
ASM, APM, Viprion).
Strong expertise in designing, configuring, and troubleshooting iRules and
VIPs.
Experience leading F5 migration projects, including multi–data center
environments.
Solid understanding of networking protocols (TCP/IP, HTTP/HTTPS, SSL,
DNS, etc.).
Knowledge of monitoring tools, performance tuning, and capacity planning.
Familiarity with security best practices, compliance requirements, and
application delivery in enterprise environments.
Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
Preferred: Certifications such as F5-CA, F5-CTS (LTM, GTM, ASM, APM) or
equivalent experience.
