Job Description

Role & responsibilities

Conduct concurrent audits of financial transactions and processes to ensure accuracy and compliance.
Perform detailed reconciliations of accounts, identifying and resolving discrepancies.
Review and assess the effectiveness of internal controls and recommend improvements.
Prepare audit reports with findings, conclusions, and recommendations.
Collaborate with various departments to ensure timely resolution of audit issues.
Monitor compliance with regulatory requirements and internal policies.
Assist in the development and implementation of audit plans and programs.
Stay updated with industry best practices and regulatory changes.

Preferred candidate profile

Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field (CA Inter, CMA).
Strong knowledge of financial processes, internal controls, and regulatory requirements.
Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Office Suite.
Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Special Skills Required:

Expertise in performing reconciliations, including bank reconciliations, account reconciliations, and intercompany reconciliations.
Ability to identify discrepancies and implement corrective actions promptly.
Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
