ETL Test Engineer

Key Responsibilities

• Perform

  ETL testing

  : validate data extraction, transformation, and loading processes.
• Develop and execute

  test cases and test scripts

  for API and UI automation.
• Work with

  Selenium WebDriver with Java

  to automate web application testing.
• Perform

  API automation testing

  using tools/frameworks like

  Rest Assured, Postman, or similar

  .
• Write complex

  SQL queries

  to validate large data sets and ETL transformations.
• Identify, log, and track

  defects

  using test management and defect tracking tools.
• Collaborate with developers, business analysts, and data engineers to understand requirements and provide quality assurance.
• Ensure

  test coverage, reusability, and maintainability

  of automation frameworks.
• Participate in

  regression, integration, and performance testing

  activities.

Required Skills & Experience

• 48 years

  of experience in

  ETL testing

  and data validation.
• Strong knowledge of

  SQL

  (joins, aggregations, stored procedures, functions).
• Hands-on experience with

  API testing & automation

  (Rest Assured, Postman, SoapUI).
• Proficiency in

  Java programming

  for test automation.
• Solid experience with

  Selenium WebDriver

  for UI automation.
• Familiarity with

  data warehouses, data lakes, or BI systems

  .
• Experience with

  Agile/Scrum

  methodologies.
• Good understanding of

  defect management tools

  (JIRA, ALM, etc.).
