We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented ETL QA Tester (Sr) with over 6 years of experience to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in ETL testing, data validation, and quality assurance processes, with a deep understanding of data warehousing and transformation concepts.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, and execute test plans and test cases for ETL processes.
• Validate data extraction, transformation, and loading workflows across multiple data sources and targets.
• Perform data quality checks and ensure data integrity across systems.
• Write complex SQL queries to validate data and troubleshoot issues.
• Collaborate with data engineers, analysts, and business stakeholders to understand requirements and ensure accurate testing coverage.
• Identify, document, and track defects using appropriate tools.
• Optimize SQL queries for performance and accuracy.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

• 6+ years of experience in ETL testing or a similar QA role.
• Strong proficiency in SQL and experience with query optimization.
• Hands-on experience with database management systems (Oracle & Snowflake)
• Solid understanding of data warehousing concepts, architectures, and ETL processes.
• Experience with data validation frameworks and data quality tools.
• Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
• Familiarity with QA tools like HP ALM, JIRA, TestRail, or similar.
• Exposure to automation frameworks and scripting languages (e.g., Python)

Preferred Qualifications:

• Knowledge of ETL tools such as Informatica, Talend, SSIS, or Apache NiFi.
• Knowledge of cloud data platforms (e.g., AWS Redshift, Azure Synapse, Google BigQuery).
