ETL Developer

The selected candidate will join the Data Integrations team of Data Architects and ETL Developers within the APS IT division. You will be responsible for collaborating with internal business customers and vendors to identify business requirements and support/develop ETL, Data Virtualization, visualization, and Data Warehouse environments. Your primary duties will include designing, translating business requirements, developing, documenting, testing, optimizing, monitoring, troubleshooting, and administrating the data environment using ETL tools and data platforms. You will also lead maintenance and upgrade efforts for data platforms and tools, contribute to incident support and resolution, and stay updated on new technologies and methods for knowledge sharing within the team. Furthermore, you will be responsible for accurately documenting architectural decisions, plans, goals, functional requirements, open items, and issues for key stakeholders. You will participate in planning sessions with customers to enhance business processes and ensure systems align with the IT long-term strategy. Additionally, you will analyze existing data platforms, identify weaknesses, develop improvement opportunities, and assist in the evaluation and selection of new data platforms. To be successful in this role, you must possess a Bachelor's degree and have a minimum of 5 years of experience developing with ETL tools such as SQL Server, SSIS, Power BI, and Tableau for Data Integration and visualization. You should also have at least 5 years of SQL experience with the ability to develop, modify, optimize, and troubleshoot complex queries. A minimum of 2 years of experience with multi-dimensional data modeling for a data warehouse and data marts is also required.,
