Job Summary:

Ethical Hacker Trainer

Key Responsibilities:

1. Training Delivery

• Design, develop, and deliver comprehensive ethical hacking and penetration testing courses (in-person or virtual).
  
• Conduct hands-on labs, workshops, and simulated attack scenarios to provide practical experience.
  
• Customize training content based on the audiences skill level and organizational requirements.
  
• Use real-world examples and current threat intelligence to make training relevant and engaging.
  

2. Curriculum Development

• Develop training materials, manuals, lab exercises, and assessments aligned with industry standards and certifications (e.g., CEH, OSCP).
  
• Continuously update course content to reflect the latest cybersecurity threats, tools, and methodologies.
  
• Collaborate with instructional designers and cybersecurity experts to improve training effectiveness.
  

3. Mentoring & Support

• Provide one-on-one coaching and mentoring for trainees on ethical hacking techniques and career progression.
  
• Assess learner progress through evaluations, quizzes, and practical tests.
  
• Offer guidance on ethical hacking certifications and career development paths.
  

4. Security Awareness & Best Practices

• Promote cybersecurity awareness and ethical hacking principles across the organization or client base.
  
• Advocate responsible disclosure, legal frameworks, and ethical considerations in cybersecurity practices.
  

5. Continuous Learning & Research

• Stay current with emerging cybersecurity threats, hacking techniques, and defensive strategies.
  
• Participate in cybersecurity communities, conferences, and certifications to maintain subject matter expertise.
  

Preferred Qualifications (Nice to Have):

• Experience designing and delivering online/virtual training programs.
  
• Background in cyber threat intelligence, incident response, or red teaming.
  
• Additional certifications like GIAC Penetration Tester (GPEN), Certified Information Security Manager (CISM).
  
• Experience with scripting or programming languages (Python, Bash, PowerShell).
  
• Knowledge of compliance and regulatory requirements related to cybersecurity training.
