Estimation Engineer

• Quantity Take-Off & BOQ Preparation

• Extract quantities from architectural, structural, and service drawings.
• Prepare detailed and itemized BOQs in accordance with project scope.

• Cost Estimation & Rate Analysis

• Analyze material, labor, and equipment costs to estimate total project value.
• Perform rate analysis for civil, finishing, and MEP items based on market standards and previous data.

• Tender & Bid Support

• Assist in preparing tender documents, cost proposals, and bid submissions.
• Review tender drawings and conditions, and raise RFIs if necessary.

• Budget Preparation & Cost Planning

• Prepare preliminary and detailed budgets for new and ongoing projects.
• Work closely with the finance and project teams to ensure cost alignment.

• Market Analysis & Vendor Coordination

• Gather material and labor rates from vendors and contractors.
• Benchmark pricing with current market trends for cost accuracy.

• Value Engineering

• Provide cost-effective alternatives and suggestions during design development.
• Support the design team by evaluating options based on cost-benefit analysis.

• Cost Comparison & Variation Control

• Prepare comparison sheets for vendor quotes and evaluate cost deviations.
• Monitor cost overruns and suggest corrective actions.

• Collaboration with Other Departments

• Coordinate with planning, execution, design, and procurement teams for seamless flow of information.

• Documentation & Reporting

• Maintain a database of cost estimates, quotations, and historical pricing data.
• Prepare estimation summaries, project costing reports, and variance reports.

• Compliance & Quality Checks

• Ensure compliance with applicable codes, specifications, and company standards.

Perform regular checks to ensure accuracy in estimation and documentation.

Skills & Competencies:

• Excellent knowledge of quantity surveying, estimation techniques, and rate analysis
• Proficient in AutoCAD, MS Excel, and estimation software
• Strong analytical and numerical abilities
• Detail-oriented with a high level of accuracy in calculations
• Effective communication and documentation skills

Preferred Candidate Profile:

• Experience in residential and commercial real estate projects
• Familiarity with project budgeting and tendering processes
• Residing in or willing to relocate to Tathawade or nearby areas
