Job Overview

The AI Engineering Head will lead the development of AI-powered enquiry-to-quote and lead generation solutions, shaping the technical vision, strategy, and execution. Transitioning from a Senior Developer to an AI Engineering leadership role, you will oversee cross-functional teams, manage the AI development lifecycle, and ensure the delivery of high-performance applications. This role requires deep expertise in AI/ML, workflow automation (e.g., n8n), PostgreSQL, Python, and Zoho Analytics, alongside proven leadership to drive innovation and technical excellence.

Key Responsibilities

• AI Leadership & Strategy:

  Define and execute the technical roadmap for AI-driven enquiry-to-quote and lead generation solutions, leveraging tools like n8n for workflow automation, Python for AI/ML development, PostgreSQL for data management, and Zoho Analytics for actionable insights.

• Team Management:

  Mentor and lead a team of 10+ engineers, including AI specialists, full-stack developers, and data engineers, fostering a collaborative, innovative, and high-performing work environment.

• Project Oversight:

  Manage the end-to-end AI development lifecycle, from requirements gathering and model design to deployment and maintenance, ensuring scalable, high-quality solutions delivered on time and within budget.

• AI Innovation for Lead Generation:

  Drive the creation of AI-driven features, such as automated lead scoring, predictive analytics, and enquiry-to-quote workflows, integrating n8n for process automation and Zoho Analytics for data-driven decision-making.

• Cross-Functional Collaboration:

  Partner with sales, marketing, and product teams to align AI engineering efforts with business goals, optimizing lead generation and customer conversion processes.

• Technical Expertise:

  Provide guidance on system architecture, data pipelines (using PostgreSQL), and scalable AI model deployment, ensuring robust performance for high-traffic lead generation systems.

• Talent Development:

  Recruit, onboard, and mentor top AI and engineering talent in Mysore, building a strong local pipeline and fostering professional growth for future leadership roles.

• Process Optimization:

  Implement agile methodologies and CI/CD pipelines to streamline AI development, leveraging tools like n8n for automation and staying ahead of emerging AI trends.

Qualifications

• Education:

  Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Artificial Intelligence, Data Science, or a related field. Certifications in AI/ML or workflow automation (e.g., AWS AI/ML, Zoho Creator) are a plus.

• Experience:

• 8-10 years of software engineering experience, with at least 3 years in a leadership role managing AI or technical teams.
• Proven track record of delivering AI-driven projects, particularly in enquiry-to-quote or lead generation applications.
• Expertise in Python (with frameworks like Flask or Django), n8n for workflow automation, PostgreSQL for database management, and Zoho Analytics for business intelligence.
• Experience with full-stack development, including front-end (React, JavaScript, HTML5, CSS) and back-end (Python, Node.js) technologies.
• Familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP) and AI deployment pipelines.
• Experience in agile methodologies, DevOps practices, and CI/CD tools.

• Skills:

• Exceptional leadership, mentoring, and team-building skills with a focus on AI-driven lead generation solutions.
• Deep expertise in designing and deploying scalable AI systems, workflow automation, and data analytics.
• Proficiency in integrating n8n, PostgreSQL, and Zoho Analytics into AI-driven workflows.

• Ability to translate complex AI and analytics concepts into business value for lead generation.

• Prior experience transitioning from a Senior Developer to an AI Engineering leadership role.
