Engineer-SSD FW Validation

We are currently seeking individuals with a strong understanding of White box and grey box test methods for Enterprise/Datacenter SSD Firmware. Having hands-on experience in debugging NVMe Protocol issues using Lecroy/JDSU analyzers is highly desired. You must have the ability to create effective test plans involving access patterns, NVMe protocols, FW test hooks, and VS commands for various areas of FW including Front End, Back End, FTL, and Security. Additionally, integrating tests into an automated test environment and collaborating with test execution teams to drive validation plans/strategy are essential. A solid foundation in Linux operating system debugging and proficiency in coding in Python are also important for this role. Effective communication skills, both oral and written, along with strong analytical, problem-solving, and project management abilities are required. You should be able to work well with others, collaborate effectively in a team environment, and demonstrate expert planning and tracking skills. The ideal candidate will hold a Bachelors or Masters degree in Computer Science or Engineering and possess 2-4 years of experience in SSD Firmware Validation. Knowledge of system storage and its relationship to various platform ingredients such as CPU, Memory, PCIe, drivers, OS, firmware, etc., is crucial for success in this role.
