Engineer - Fulfillment

You will be working as Fulfillment Engineer, reporting to SCM Manager Motors division based in Bangalore, India. You will be responsible to handle sale and operation planning of a defined product range from outsource suppliers. Ensures the implementation, maintenance, and compliance of the purchasing and logistics-related activities in the Procurement function to support the business(es). Executes assigned activities as per ABB standard procedures.

The work model for the role is: Onsite

This role is contributing to the Motion Large Motors Division in Vadodara Gujarat.

• Executes purchasing and logistics strategies to support the business by optimizing costs, quality, and reliability of suppliers and supplied products.
• Designs and implements plans and effective strategies for local sourcing of products/materials to reach business targets.
• Supports the Procurement Manager in implementing effective local sourcing strategies in line with business strategy to meet current and future business requirements.
• Supports alignment between local procurement activities and division strategy.
• Applies and implements procurement standards, tools, and processes in their own area of responsibility to secure quality, delivery, cost, and sustainability.

Your Qualifications:

• BE/BTECH in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering from a reputed engineering college.
• Minimum 5 years of related experience in Fulfillment and procurement.
• Experience in rotating electrical machines or HT Motors will be preferred.
• Excellent communication skills.
