Embedded Systems Test Engineer - Automation Testing

Experience :

Responsibilities

• Analyze requirements and prepare comprehensive test scenarios and test cases.
• Create test plans and test cases from feature descriptions and validate functionality.
• Report and track bugs/issues using bug or requirement tracking tools.
• Investigate and resolve testing-related issues and challenges.
• Coordinate with team members and stakeholders to ensure alignment and communication.
• Execute manual and automated test procedures and analyze test results.
• Work with test automation tools/equipment for embedded systems testing Skills & Qualifications :
• 24 years of hands-on experience in embedded systems testing.
• Strong knowledge of Python scripting for automation/testing.
• Good understanding of Software Test Life Cycle (STLC) and testing methodologies.
• Proficiency in bug life cycle and experience using test management tools.
• Familiarity with communication protocols such as CAN, MODBUS, RS232/RS485.
• Exposure to test automation tools and equipment used in embedded system validation is a plus.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Good communication and collaboration Qualifications :
• Bachelors degree in Electronics, Computer Science, or related discipline.
• ISTQB or similar testing certification (a plus).
