Embedded System Software Tester

Role Overview: As an Embedded System Software Tester at Danfoss Power Solutions, you will be a key member of the Embedded Operating System team for the new PLUS+1 Operating System platform. Your role will involve the specification, verification, and validation of complex peripheral drivers for real-time embedded control software. You will also be responsible for continuous integration and testing of the embedded software, tool-assisted documentation, and specification, as well as version control management. Collaboration with software development engineers will be a crucial aspect of your responsibilities. Key Responsibilities: - Specify, verify, and validate complex peripheral drivers for real-time embedded control software - Conduct continuous integration and testing of embedded PLUS+1 Operating System platform software - Manage tool-assisted documentation, specification, and version control - Create new test environments - Collaborate closely with software development engineers Qualifications Required: - Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or Computer Engineering - Several years of experience in complex embedded software testing with state-of-the-art test automation - Good understanding of continuous integration, fault insertion tests, and embedded systems - Familiarity with hardware debug tools such as debuggers (JTAG), protocol analyzers, oscilloscopes, multi-meters, etc. - Proficiency in English communication - Detail-oriented with the ability to see things in a broader perspective - Ability to work as a team player in a cross-functional environment within a large organization Additional Company Details: Danfoss is a global provider of mobile hydraulics for various industries, including construction, agriculture, and off-highway vehicle markets.
