What You’ll Do

As an Embedded & IoT Software Intern, you will:

• Develop and deploy production-grade software on

  Debian-based single-board computers

  for robotic automation.
• Design and implement

  control algorithms

  for multi-axis motion systems.
• Build and optimize

  machine vision pipelines

  for real-time robotic applications.
• Implement

  IoT connectivity

  (protocols, APIs) for monitoring and control.
• Apply

  software design patterns

  to ensure modular, scalable, and maintainable code.
• Work across

  Python, C++, and Linux environments

  to deliver robust deployments.
• Collaborate with

  mechanical and electronics engineers

  for full-stack robotic integration.

Eligibility

• Final-year students, fresh graduates, or early-career professionals

  from Electronics / Electrical / Computer Science / Robotics / Mechatronics backgrounds

  .
• Strong interest in embedded systems, robotics, and IoT applications.

• Available for on-site, full-time work

  at Maker Village, Kochi, for the full internship duration.

• Must be willing to complete a screening assignment

  as part of the selection process.

Must-Have Skills

• Strong programming experience in

  Python and C++

  , with a focus on embedded/robotics applications.
• Knowledge of multi-axis motion

  control algorithms and robotics frameworks

  .
• Basic to intermediate

  experience with computer vision

  (OpenCV or equivalent).
• Proficiency in

  Linux-based development and deployment

  .
• Understanding of

  IoT protocols

  (MQTT, WebSockets, REST, or similar).
• Familiarity with software design principles and clean coding practices.
