Embedded Engr II

• Embedded Engineer II (Elster, Gas Measurement, IOT, Network domain testing, Software testing and automation)

• Description
• Design / Build custom test fixtures and tools
• Design / Implement test automation infrastructure
• Subject matter expert on Elster, Gas Measurement, IOT, Network domain testing, Software testing and automation etc.
• Create test scripts that meet the team definition of done
• Run automated regressions, review failures, make adjustment to scripts as needed.
• Troubleshoot and Maintain existing test fixtures. Includes debugging hardware and software
• Able to work in Firmware Verification, System / Product Verification or Solution Verification
• Work with cross functional agile teams located at multiple Honeywell locations around the globe
  

Qualifications

• Requirements
• Bachelor’s degree in electrical/Electronic engineering, Computer Engineering, or Computer Science
• 2 to 3 Years of experience in Embedded product testing and validation
• 2 years’ Experience with Object Oriented programming
• Python Scripting and LabView
• Elster, Gas Measurement, IOT, Network domain testing, Software testing and automation etc.
• Experience with software management tools (SVN, GIT, Bitbucket, etc.)
• Ability to work well with others in a team environment
• Strong trouble-shooting and problem-solving skills
• Excellent communication, conflict resolution, interpersonal and organizational skills.
• Able to adapt and solve problems in an unstructured environment, with minimal supervision
• Preferred - Experience with Embedded Systems (testing or developing)
• Preferred – Embedded Product Testing Experience (Elster, Gas Measurement, IOT, Network domain testing, Software testing and automation etc.)
• Preferred – Experience on Web automation and desktop application automation
• Preferred – Experience with Agile development methodologies and tools (Jira, Rally, etc.)
