Embedded Developer - C/C++ Programming

As an Embedded Developer, you will be responsible for meeting with clients, designers, and engineering teams to establish technical requirements. You will design program architecture based on project needs and hardware specifications, write software code, embedded programs, and system protocols. Testing embedded software systems for proper integration and troubleshooting to diagnose errors, malfunctions, or inefficiencies will be part of your duties. Additionally, you will be implementing repairs, modifications, and upgrades to the embedded code as needed. It will be your responsibility to work closely with design and engineering teams to ensure process alignment, manage project timelines, and report any delays or issues to the supervisor. Generating diagnostic reports, technical manuals, and software development documentation will also be essential. You will maintain embedded software systems and perform maintenance tasks when required. To qualify for this role, you should hold a bachelor's degree in computer science, computer engineering, or a related field and possess a minimum of 10 years of experience as an embedded developer. Proficiency in C and C++ programming languages is required, along with a strong understanding of hardware architecture such as ARM and MIPS. You should be familiar with hardware protocols including USB, UART, I2C, and SPI, and have experience with OS platforms/RTOS. Excellent diagnostic skills, strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, as well as organizational and project management skills are necessary for this position.
