Job Description

General Summary:

As a Qualcomm Software Test Engineer, you will design, develop, create, and modify test cases and validate embedded software, cloud software, system algorithms, application software, automation, and/or specialized utility programs that launch cutting-edge, world class products. Qualcomm Software Test Engineers collaborate across various engineering teams and functions to design and implement test plans.

Minimum Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Information Systems, Computer Science, or related field.

Work Experience :

min 2yrs Experience in Audio Technology and Audio Testing

Imp Note: Candidates currently engaged with Qualcomm through a third-party vendor are not eligible to apply for this role.

Key Responsibilities:

Analyze and validate performance of audio subsystems to meet strict metrics for robustness, and stability on Qualcomm platforms.
Understanding in Audio codes, standards, mobile audio and IoT Audio features
Collaborate with cross-functional, systems, engineering and customer engineering teams for system use case verification and commercialization of audio technologies
Perform System level performance testing, measurements and certifications.
Support diversity and inclusion within Qualcomm and exhibit adaptability in a dynamic, multi-tasking team environment.

Requirements :

Solid background in audio software and firmware fundamentals.
Experience working on Android audio architecture or Linux audio drivers is a plus
Experience with embedded platforms, DSP architectures, real-time operating systems, and software design patterns
Quick learner, self-motivated, and capable of working independently across geographically dispersed teams.
Ability to do considerable analysis and debugging skills.
Experience on Audio hardware Interfaces, Tunning, 3GPP standard testing is an addon advantage.

Qualifications :

Bachelors or masters in engineering
Effective Oral and Written Communication skills
Good Team player
Knowledge on Python Scription, C programming with debugging skills
