Embedded Architect

As an Embedded Systems Architect specializing in communication and network protocols, you will play a pivotal role in leading the architectural design of embedded systems. Your responsibilities will include designing and implementing protocols for wireless and wired communication, optimizing embedded software for efficient network communication, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to deliver integrated solutions. You will define and document protocol specifications and communication standards, implement error handling and security mechanisms for data transmission, and ensure compliance with industry communication standards. Additionally, you will be involved in detailed design, simulation, and testing of communication protocols in embedded systems, continually assessing and recommending improvements to enhance system performance, reliability, and security. To excel in this role, you should possess a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or a related field, along with at least 15 years of proven experience as an Embedded Systems Architect. Your expertise should extend to communication protocols such as TCP/IP, UDP, MQTT, CoAP, Zigbee, Bluetooth, and other relevant standards, as well as proficiency in embedded programming languages like C and C++. Familiarity with real-time operating systems, wireless communication technologies, network security protocols, and debugging and optimization skills in embedded systems is essential. Ideally, you should also have experience with embedded Linux or advanced OS used in networking applications, knowledge of IP-based communication and IoT protocols, and familiarity with network simulation tools. An understanding of QoS mechanisms and traffic prioritization in embedded systems, as well as experience with wireless mesh networks or 5G communication protocols, would be advantageous. In this role, you will provide technical leadership and mentoring to junior engineers, guiding them in embedded systems design and network protocols. Your contributions will be instrumental in driving the performance, reliability, and security of communication systems in industries such as automotive, IoT, telecommunications, and healthcare.,
