Description

We are seeking a skilled EM IP/OP coder to join our dynamic healthcare team in India. The ideal candidate will be responsible for accurately coding medical records and ensuring compliance with industry regulations. This role is essential for maintaining the quality of our healthcare documentation and facilitating efficient billing processes.

Responsibilities

Review and analyze medical records to ensure accurate coding of diagnoses and procedures using ICD-10, CPT, and HCPCS codes.
Collaborate with healthcare providers to clarify diagnoses and procedures when necessary.
Ensure compliance with coding guidelines and regulations to maintain the integrity of coding practices.
Conduct regular audits of coding practices to identify areas for improvement and implement corrective actions.
Stay updated with the latest coding updates, guidelines, and best practices in the healthcare industry.

Skills and Qualifications

1-7 years of experience in EM IP/OP coding or related field.
Proficiency in ICD-10, CPT, and HCPCS coding systems.
Strong knowledge of medical terminology and anatomy.
Excellent attention to detail and accuracy in coding.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Effective communication skills, both verbal and written.
