ELV Site Engineer

As an ELV Senior Site Engineer, your primary responsibility will be to oversee the installation, commissioning, and maintenance of Extra Low Voltage (ELV) systems at construction or industrial sites. These systems encompass a range of technologies such as CCTV, access control, fire alarms, public address systems, and structured cabling. Your key responsibilities will include: Site Supervision: You will be required to supervise the installation of ELV systems on-site, ensuring that the work is carried out in accordance with design specifications and project timelines. System Installation: You will oversee the setup and wiring of ELV systems, ensuring their correct configuration and integration with other building systems. Testing & Commissioning: Your role will involve conducting thorough system testing and commissioning to ensure that all ELV systems function as intended before handover. Troubleshooting: You will need to identify and resolve any technical issues that may arise during the installation or operation of ELV systems. Quality Control: It will be your responsibility to ensure that all installations meet industry standards, client requirements, and safety regulations. Documentation: You must maintain accurate records of installations, testing reports, and as-built drawings for future reference. Client Coordination: You will be expected to communicate effectively with clients, contractors, and suppliers to ensure the smooth execution of ELV projects and address any concerns that may arise. Safety Compliance: You are required to ensure that all work is carried out in compliance with safety guidelines and regulations. This is a full-time position with a day shift schedule. The ideal candidate should hold a Bachelor's degree, although it is not mandatory. A minimum of 1 year of relevant work experience is preferred. The role may require up to 75% travel, and work will be conducted in person at various sites.
