Electrical Testing and Commissioning

As a Junior Electrical Testing and Commissioning Engineer at NV5 Mission Critical, you will play a vital role in ensuring the optimal performance and reliability of electrical systems within the mission-critical engineering domain. With 1 to 3 years of relevant work experience, your responsibilities will include conducting thorough electrical testing and commissioning to uphold high operational standards. Your proficiency in electrical testing and commissioning is crucial, as you will be responsible for ensuring system functionality and compliance with technical standards. Additionally, you will need to have hands-on experience with ELV switchgear, including installation, testing, and troubleshooting. Familiarity with HT - HV MV Switchgear operations and knowledge of UPS testing and commissioning will be essential to maintain uninterrupted power supply effectiveness and system resilience. You will also be expected to have experience in transformer configuration and commissioning, as well as competence in diesel generator (DG) testing to assess performance and manage energy efficiency effectively. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills will be required to identify and rectify system issues promptly, while the ability to work effectively under pressure and adapt to the dynamic needs of mission-critical environments is essential. Collaboration with other engineers to execute mission-critical tasks efficiently, conducting detailed inspections and testing of ELV switchgear, and assisting with the setup, testing, and troubleshooting of HT - HV MV Switchgear will be part of your roles and responsibilities. You will also be involved in overseeing UPS testing, facilitating the commissioning of transformers and diesel generators, and maintaining comprehensive documentation of testing processes, results, and system statuses.
