Job Description – Site Supervisor (House Wiring & Electrical LT Panel)

Reporting To: Project Manager / Senior Engineer

Job Summary:

We are seeking an experienced and responsible Site Supervisor to oversee house wiring and LT panel installation projects. The candidate will be responsible for monitoring site activities, ensuring quality, safety, and timely completion of work, and coordinating between electricians, contractors, and the management team.

Key Responsibilities:

• Supervise and manage electrical site activities related to residential wiring and LT panel installation.
• Allocate work to electricians and helpers, monitor their progress, and maintain productivity.
• Ensure all electrical work is carried out as per drawings, safety standards, and applicable codes.
• Inspect installation of wiring, conduits, switches, DBs, and LT panels to ensure quality and compliance.
• Plan daily work schedules, arrange required materials, and report site progress to management.
• Troubleshoot on-site issues and provide technical guidance to the team.
• Ensure proper documentation, such as daily site reports, material usage, and as-built drawings.
• Coordinate with contractors, vendors, and clients for smooth execution of projects.
• Maintain strict adherence to safety practices (PPE usage, lockout/tagout, etc.).
• Assist in testing, commissioning, and handover of electrical systems.

Requirements:

• Diploma / ITI in Electrical Engineering (or equivalent).
• Minimum 2–5 years of experience in house wiring and LT panel installation.
• Strong knowledge of residential electrical systems, load distribution, and safety standards.
• Ability to read and interpret electrical drawings and wiring diagrams.
• Good leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
• Hands-on experience with electrical measuring instruments and panel testing.
• Familiar with local electrical codes and regulations.

Preferred Skills:

• Experience in low-tension panel assembly, installation, and commissioning.
• Knowledge of earthing, cabling, and load management.
• Ability to manage multiple sites simultaneously.
• Strong focus on safety and quality assurance.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: ₹15,000.00 - ₹30,000.00 per month
