Role Overview

Sales Engineer/Manager (Electrical)

Key Focus Areas

  • Lead Generation

    : Identify and qualify leads from:
    • OEMs (Original Equipment Manufacturers)
    • Panel Builders and System Integrators
    • End-users in the steel, pipe, and allied sectors
  • Lead Conversion

    : Follow up on generated leads to convert into purchase orders with support from the technical and estimation team
  • Customer Retention & Revival

    : Reconnect with past clients to understand current requirements and revive dormant accounts
  • Spare Parts Sales

    : Promote and sell spares and retrofit solutions for our guiding systems and automation panels
  • New Product Promotion

    : Actively contribute to the go-to-market strategy for new in-house developed products

Industry Focus

  • Steel & Pipe Industry
    (Major clients include JSW Steel, Jindal Steel, Tata Steel, Welspun Corp, AMNS, Ratnamani Metals, and others)

Responsibilities

  • Customer & OEM Engagement

    • Build and manage relationships with OEMs, panel builders, and plant end-users
    • Identify key decision-makers and influencers in target companies
  • Product Knowledge Support

    • Learn and support sales for:
      • Drive & MCC Panels (VFDs)
      • PLC/HMI/SCADA-based Control Panels
      • Edge Guide & Center Guide Systems
      • Spare part kits and panel components
  • CRM & Documentation

    • Maintain up-to-date CRM records
    • Log customer interactions, leads, and conversions
  • Marketing & Events

    • Participate in trade shows, expos, and digital campaigns alongside the senior team
    • Help prepare content and support outreach campaigns targeting steel & pipe sectors

Required Qualifications

  • Education

    :
    • Bachelors | Diploma | Masters in Electrical, Electronics, or Instrumentation Engineering
  • Technical Understanding

    :
    • Basics of PLCs, VFDs, SCADA, HMI, and Control Panels
  • Sales Mindset

    :
    • Proactive approach to lead generation, follow-up, and closure
    • Ability to communicate technical concepts to non-technical audiences
  • Other Requirements

    :
    • Willingness to travel for field visits and exhibitions
    • Good interpersonal and communication skills
