Job Description

As an Electrical Engineer II at Honeywell, you will be a crucial contributor to the design, development, and implementation of electrical systems and components. Your role will involve offering technical expertise and assistance to cross-functional teams to ensure the successful completion of projects. Additionally, you will conduct feasibility studies, analyze technical requirements, and implement electrical engineering strategies and best practices. You will lead a team of Electrical Engineers in designing, executing, and commissioning the Electrical Engineering aspects of material handling projects. Collaboration with other departments to mitigate project execution risks will be a key part of your responsibilities. Interfacing with customers to create high-quality designs that align with their requirements and working with the project team to manage deliverables, tasks, schedules, and financial aspects will also be essential. Prioritizing tasks in accordance with schedule requirements is crucial. To be eligible for this role, you must hold a Bachelor's degree from an accredited institution in a technical discipline such as science, technology, engineering, or mathematics. A minimum of 2 years of experience with AutoCAD Electrical is required. Demonstrating the ability and willingness to work effectively in a team environment, as well as promptly escalating issues and roadblocks to engineering management, are important qualities. Adaptability in molding execution strategies as per project needs and changing priorities is necessary. The role also entails willingness and ability to travel up to 60% of the time and a minimum of 2 years of hands-on experience in the material handling industry. Preferred qualifications include a degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or Mechatronics Engineering, as well as advanced Engineering degrees like EE (Electrical Engineering). Experience in leading engineering projects, knowledge of industry standards and regulations related to electrical engineering are valued.
