Job Opening: Electrical Engineer - Transformers

We are seeking a highly experienced and motivated Electrical Engineer to join our team at the transformer manufacturing unit in Jeedimetla, Hyderabad. This is a critical role for an individual with a strong background in transformer testing, inspections, quality assurance, and project documentation.

Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive testing and inspection of power and distribution transformers.
• Perform quality checks at various stages of the transformer manufacturing process.
• Generate detailed test reports, inspection certificates, and other official documentation.
• Coordinate with internal teams and external department officials for inspections and project approvals.
• Ensure all products meet national and international quality and safety standards.
• Lead and mentor a team of junior engineers and technicians.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering / Diploma in Electrical Engineering
• Minimum of 3+ years of hands-on experience in a transformer manufacturing unit.
• Proven expertise in testing transformers (e.g., Impulse test, Temperature Rise test, Short-circuit test).
• Experience in attending third-party inspections and dealing with government officials.
• Excellent report writing and documentation skills.
• Strong knowledge of industry standards (IS, IEC).
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
