Description
As an Associate - EDS at EY, you will collaborate with business, reporting, and other teams to understand business requirements and perform data analysis. You will be involved in project transitions, enhancements, modifications, and post-transition support as needed. This role will allow you to lead, design, mentor, and implement reporting and data analytic solutions. Your responsibilities will include constructing data objects, creating SSIS jobs, analyzing large data sets, preparing visualization dashboards, creating complex SQL and SSIS packages, supporting the Decisions sciences team, coordinating ETL best practices, ensuring data quality, participating in production support, and taking on end-to-end ownership within analysis and development phases. **Key Responsibilities:** - Create SSIS jobs to extract, transfer and load data using SSIS/Azure Data Factory - Analyze large sets of data, determine patterns, and prepare visualization dashboards using Spotfire/Power BI - Create complex SQL and SSIS packages to support data integration projects - Support the Decisions sciences team on extracted data analysis - Coordinate development of ETL best practices for new data sources - Ensure strict adherence to data quality through extensive data analysis - Participate in production support and code deployment outside of regular business hours - Take on end-to-end ownership and perform various roles within analysis and development phases - Understand existing SQL code, create source-to-target mapping documents, and work with spreadsheet, database, presentation software, and specialized business applications - Utilize database concepts, apply SQL knowledge, and work with Azure platforms **Qualification Required:** - More than 1 year of experience as a data analyst with exposure as a SSIS/ETL Developer - More than 1 year of experience with SQL Server 2005/2008/2012 T-SQL coding - More than 1 year of working knowledge in Visualization tools like Power BI - Working knowledge in MS Excel Macros, VB illustrations will be an added advantage - Bachelor's degree in a related field - Presentation, interpersonal, and planning skills necessary for effective communication, relationship building, and workload coordination EY is committed to building a better working world by creating new value for clients, people, society, and the planet.
