Basic Qualifications (Mandatory)

• BE/ BTech degree in any discipline from a University/Institution/Board recognized by Govt. of India / approved by Govt. Regulatory bodies

  OR

• MCA / ME / MTech / MSc in any discipline from a recognized University/Institution/Board.
  

Preferred Qualifications

• Advanced degree in

  Cybersecurity

  or

  Information Technology.

• Preferred Certifications:

  CISSP, CISM, CISA, CCSP, PMP, MBA (Technology Management).

Experience

Mandatory:

• 12+ years of overall experience

  , with at least

  8–10 years in Cyber Citizen-Centric initiatives

  (awareness, outreach, or end-user cybersecurity programs).

Preferred:

• Proven experience in

  conceptualizing, managing, or executing cybersecurity awareness activities

  for citizens/end-users through

  mass outreach and niche campaigns

  across varied digital and physical channels.
• Exposure to

  cybersecurity roles

  in

  IT companies, BFSI institutions, government cybersecurity programs, consulting organizations, or innovation hubs.

• Experience in

  Information Security, Cyber Policy, Innovation, Cyber Defense, or allied domains.

• Hands-on experience in

  setting up or working in a Centre of Excellence (CoE).

Role & Responsibilities

• Design, implement, and drive citizen-centric cybersecurity programs

  for awareness, outreach, and end-user safety.
• Own and manage

  cybersecurity sensitization initiatives

  targeting diverse audiences including students, professionals, small businesses, and vulnerable communities.
• Develop and implement

  program effectiveness metrics

  and establish dashboards to track adoption, awareness, and behavioral changes.
• Build and manage

  multichannel outreach strategies

  including workshops, digital media campaigns, social media engagement, print, radio, and community-driven programs.
• Collaborate with

  government bodies, industry associations, BFSI players, and NGOs

  to amplify citizen awareness efforts.
• Ensure programs are aligned with

  national cybersecurity policies, regulations, and global best practices.

• Mentor and lead a team of professionals working on citizen-centric initiatives.
  
• Represent the organization at

  forums, conferences, and public events

  to promote cyber hygiene and safe practices.
• Leverage modern technologies (gamification, interactive platforms, AI-driven awareness tools) to improve engagement.
  
• Contribute to the

  Centre of Excellence

  by sharing insights, designing knowledge repositories, and establishing outreach benchmarks.

• Demonstrated success in

  leading citizen awareness or end-user cybersecurity programs

  at scale.
• Strong leadership and team management skills, with the ability to inspire and guide a diverse team.
  
• Excellent

  project management and program delivery expertise.

• Technical background

  in IT, cybersecurity, and/or data management.
• Excellent

  communication and interpersonal skills

  , with the ability to connect with varied stakeholders including citizens, regulators, media, and industry partners.
• Experience in

  stakeholder engagement, public-private partnerships, and relationship management.

• Ability to operate in a

  fast-paced and dynamic environment

  with competing priorities.
• Knowledge of

  relevant to cybersecurity awareness and digital safety.
• Strategic thinker with a

  passion for citizen safety, digital empowerment, and inclusive outreach.
