DuckCreek Developer

The Position:

The Duck Creek Developer should have minimum 3-8 years of experience in Duck Creek Policy Configuration and Integration. The candidate should have an expertise in the Application development and implementation using latest Duck Creek platform and its allied features. The candidate should have good skills in software development lifecycle, messaging patterns, endpoint security, interfaces with internal and external applications, and database knowledge. leading and teaching others through doing, knowledge sharing, mentoring and training; documenting guidelines, best practices and lessons learned; and, participating in reviews and code inspection sessions.

Key Responsibilities:

• Product Application development using Duck Creek latest platform and it’s allied features.
• Collaborate with Architects, Tech Leads and business partners.
• Preparation of LLD’s under the supervision of Technical Architect.
• Perform unit testing and ensure quality of code delivered.
• Provide technical support and troubleshooting for Duck Creek application, adhere to best practices.
• Creation of re-usable codes/assets/enablers as a part of the project or engagement.
• Work on scaled agile development teams to understand business needs and transform requirements into innovative solutions.
• Mentor junior developers and contribute to knowledge sharing and competency building within the team.

What are we looking for?

Required Knowledge and Skills:

• Good knowledge on commercial and personal lines of templates (ISO and non-ISO)
• Hands-On technical skills in Duck Creek's toolset Express , Server, Author, Rating, Transact, Forms, User Admin, Shredding, XSLT Transformation, XML, HTML5, SQL
• Hands- On experience in Duck Creek Platform - v6.x, v7.0 and v8.0
• Hands- On experience in Express Version 3 & Theme Maker.
• Experience in Duck Creek AMI, Anywhere API & Message Hub.
• Knowledge of Duck Creek Conformant standards and remediation methodologies.
• Working experience in DCOD is preferrable.
• Experience working directly with technical, business stakeholders/leadership in formulating technical requirements to solve business problems
• Will abide by departmental policies and procedures, including authority levels, to comply with C&F’s risk management controls.
