Drupal Website Developers

Role Overview

We are seeking a skilled Drupal Developer to design, implement, and maintain websites and web applications using the Drupal CMS. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with Drupal development, including theme customization, module creation, and website optimization. You will collaborate with clients, designers, and developers to deliver scalable, secure, and high-performing Drupal solutions.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain websites and web applications using Drupal CMS (versions 7, 8, or 9)
• Customize and configure Drupal themes to meet client requirements
• Create, modify, and maintain custom Drupal modules for specific functionalities
• Manage website content, ensuring accuracy, consistency, and proper display
• Collaborate with designers, front-end developers, and project managers for seamless integration of design and functionality
• Optimize website performance, including page load times and server resource usage
• Conduct regular maintenance, updates, and upgrades to Drupal core and modules
• Implement security best practices to safeguard websites from vulnerabilities and attacks
• Perform security audits and apply necessary patches and updates
• Conduct thorough testing to identify and resolve issues, ensuring cross-browser compatibility and responsive design
• Maintain clear documentation for custom code, modules, and configurations
• Provide training and support for clients on managing their Drupal websites
• Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues, providing timely technical support

Qualifications and Skills

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field (or equivalent work experience)
• Proven experience in Drupal development, including Drupal 7, 8, or 9
• Proficiency in PHP, HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and MySQL
• Strong knowledge of Drupal theming, template customization, and module development
• Understanding of web standards, responsive design, and SEO best practices
• Experience with version control systems, such as Git
• Excellent collaboration and communication skills for working with team members and clients
• Strong problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and ability to work independently

Preferred Qualifications

• Drupal certification (e.g., Acquia Certified Drupal Developer)
• Experience with third-party integrations and API development
• Knowledge of website performance optimization techniques
• Familiarity with Agile development methodologies
• Experience with other CMS platforms or web development frameworks
