Job Description:

Establish and enforce document control procedures specific to construction documentation including drawings, specifications, submittals, RFIs, and change orders
Implement and administer document management systems tailored to construction project needs
Develop project-specific document numbering systems, revision control processes, and document workflows
Coordinate with project managers, contractors, architects, engineers, and clients to establish document submission requirements and approval workflows
Ensure timely distribution of updated documentation to all relevant project stakeholders
Manage document transmittals, submittal logs, and approval tracking systems
Oversee the creation and maintenance of master document registers and drawing logs
Implement quality control measures to ensure document accuracy and consistency across project documentation
Prepare and circulate minutes of various project coordination and review meetings.
Establish and maintain as-built document procedures and project closeout documentation processes
Develop document retention protocols and handover procedures for completed projects
Monitor compliance with contractual document requirements and regulatory standards
Prepare regular document status reports for project management teams
Lead the transition of documents from project phases to handover/facilities management
