About the Role
We are seeking an organised and proactive District Coordinator to oversee the implementation of the Rural Livelihood Program for Persons with Disabilities (PwDs) in the assigned districts. This role bridges field-level execution with state-level program management, supervising Field Officers, ensuring program quality, managing stakeholder relationships, verifying data, and providing regular updates to the state lead.
Role Expectations
Program Implementation & Coordination
Oversee and support Field Officers in executing program activities in line with program guidelines and timelines.
Ensure adherence to the program framework, quality standards, and reporting protocols.
Monitor progress against targets and resolve field-level challenges proactively.

Stakeholder Engagement
Build and maintain relationships with district-level government officials, community leaders, and partner organisations.
Facilitate awareness sessions and advocacy for PwD inclusion in local livelihood initiatives.

Data Verification & Reporting
Verify data submitted by Field Officers for accuracy and completeness.
Compile district-level reports and share with the Program Manager and State Lead.
Document success stories, challenges, and lessons learned for internal and donor reporting.

Capacity Building & Support
Identify training needs of Field Officers and facilitate capacity-building sessions.
Provide on-ground mentoring to ensure consistent quality of delivery.

Excellent written and verbal communication in Hindi and preferably local dialects.
Understanding of disability inclusion and rural livelihoods.

Tools – Demonstrable Proficiency
Google Workspace (Docs, Sheets, Slides, Drive).
MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
