Director of Product Engineering

Role Overview: As a Product Engineering Leader, you will be responsible for leading and mentoring high-performing engineering teams in the development of scalable, secure, and performant enterprise software products. Your role will involve driving product architecture, design, and implementation from ideation to delivery, ensuring rapid time-to-market with high-quality outcomes. Collaboration with customers to understand business needs and translate them into robust technical solutions will be a key aspect of your responsibilities. Working closely with Product Managers, Owners, and Business Stakeholders will be essential to align technology initiatives with business objectives. Additionally, you will be required to evangelize engineering best practices, drive innovation, and ensure alignment with non-functional requirements (NFRs) such as performance, reliability, scalability, usability, and cost-efficiency. Leading initiatives that handle large-scale data sets and driving architecture supporting complex data pipelines and analytics will also be a critical part of your responsibilities. Any experience in Life Sciences, Commercial/Pharma, or Incentive Compensation is highly desirable. Key Responsibilities: - Lead Engineering Teams to develop scalable, secure, and performant enterprise software products. - Drive End-to-End Product Ownership from architecture to delivery with high-quality outcomes. - Collaborate with customers to translate business needs into technical solutions. - Work closely with cross-functional teams to align technology initiatives with business objectives. - Evangelize engineering best practices and drive innovation. - Build and manage data-driven applications across AWS, Azure, and Google Cloud platforms. - Lead initiatives handling large-scale data sets and driving architecture supporting complex data pipelines and analytics. Required Qualifications: - Bachelor's or Masters degree in Computer Science or a related field from a Tier 1 or Tier 2 institution. - 18+ years in IT with 7+ years in product development and core engineering leadership roles. - Demonstrated experience building scalable enterprise software products.,
