Role Overview

The Director of GCC Operations will be responsible for establishing, managing, and scaling the Global Capability Center (GCC) for EPSoft. This leader will oversee daily operations, drive strategic growth, build high-performance teams, and ensure the GCC delivers measurable value to global stakeholders. The role requires strong business acumen, operational excellence, people leadership, and the ability to bridge the expectations of global clients with local execution.

Key Responsibilities Strategy & Governance

• Define and execute the overall GCC strategy aligned with corporate goals. • Establish operational frameworks, governance structures, and performance measurement metrics. • Drive transformation initiatives, automation, and adoption of best practices.

Operations Management

• Oversee daily GCC operations across all functional units (IT Staffing, Product Development, Finance, HR, and Support). • Ensure process efficiency, compliance, and adherence to SLAs/KPIs. • Lead business continuity planning, risk management, and operational resilience.

Talent & Leadership

• Build and lead a multi-disciplinary team with a strong focus on talent development and retention. • Foster a performance-driven, innovative, and collaborative workplace culture. • Partner with HR to drive campus hiring, lateral recruitment, learning, and career progression programs.

Stakeholder Management

• Act as the primary liaison between GCC and global headquarters (US). • Manage relationships with internal leadership, external partners, and local authorities. • Deliver quarterly reviews and operational reports to executive leadership.

Financial & Compliance

• Own GCC P&L, budgeting, and cost optimization initiatives. • Ensure compliance with local labor laws, SEZ/STPI regulations, and company policies. • Monitor vendor contracts, facilities, and infrastructure investments.

Innovation & Growth

• Enable digital transformation through AI, automation, and analytics adoption. • Identify opportunities to expand GCC services (new domains, geographies, or centers). • Drive continuous improvement and implement global best practices.

Qualifications • Education: MBA/PGDM or equivalent (preferred), Engineering/IT background a plus.

Experience:

15+ years in IT/ITES/Staffing/Shared Services, with at least 5 years in a senior leadership role managing large-scale operations. • Proven track record of setting up, scaling, and operating GCCs or Shared Services Centers. • Strong knowledge of global delivery models, compliance frameworks, and transformation programs. • Excellent leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills
