Digital S/W Engineer Analyst 1

Role Overview: As a Digital Software Engineer Analyst at our company, you will be responsible for applying your specialty area knowledge in monitoring, assessing, analyzing, and evaluating processes and data. You will identify policy gaps, interpret data, make recommendations, and research factual information to formulate policies. Your role will involve identifying inconsistencies in data, defining business issues, and formulating recommendations on policies, procedures, or practices. Additionally, you will integrate established disciplinary knowledge within your specialty area with a basic understanding of related industry practices, contributing to the overall objectives of the area. Your impact will be limited but direct on the business through the quality of tasks/services provided, primarily within your own team. Key Responsibilities: - Identify problems, questions, or situations using established criteria to influence development outcomes - Utilize the right technology to solve technical challenges for delivering small-scale features and functions or supporting larger program efforts - Collaborate with software engineers and technical teams to analyze user requirements, specifications, and business needs for digital software projects - Assist in the development, design, construction, testing, and implementation of secure, stable, testable, and maintainable code - Participate in code reviews, testing, and debugging activities to ensure the quality, performance, and reliability of digital software applications - Understand the business context and associated customer use cases - Evaluate system designs and architecture, participate in solution discussions, and contribute to the creation of application/systems documentation - Provide inputs for building project development schedules and feature prioritization - Complete assessment tests or certifications to demonstrate technical expertise on your development platform(s) - Assess risk in business decisions, ensuring compliance with laws, rules, regulations, and ethical standards Qualifications: - 5-9 years in an Apps Development role with demonstrated execution capabilities - Strong analytical and quantitative skills, data-driven, and results-oriented - Experience in running high traffic, distributed, cloud-based services - Experience in driving large culture change and leading infrastructure programs - Skilled at working with third-party service providers - Excellent written and oral communication skills Education: - Bachelors/University degree Additional Company Details: If you are a person with a disability and need a reasonable accommodation to use our search tools and/or apply for a career opportunity, please review Accessibility at Citi.
