Job Description

Senior DevOps / Platform Engineer

Key Responsibilities

Design, deploy, and manage cloud infrastructure on
Azure and/or AWS
.
Implement automation using
Terraform, Ansible, Groovy
, and other IaC tools.
Build and maintain robust
CI/CD pipelines
using
Jenkins, GitHub, Argo CD (GitOps)
,
SonarQube
, and
Checkmarx
.
Manage containerized environments using
Kubernetes
,
OpenShift
,
Docker
, and
CNI
.
Administer and troubleshoot
application servers
like
Jboss, Tomcat, Apache
, and
IIS
.
Ensure infrastructure security including
SSL
,
GPOs
,
VA scans
, and
OS compliance
.
Perform
database export/import
across environments (Oracle/SQL).
Monitor systems using tools like the
ELK Stack
.
Support and troubleshoot
web-based applications
and infrastructure issues.
Collaborate in
Agile ceremonies
and contribute to sprint planning and retrospectives.
Engage in
R&D initiatives
to drive innovation and continuous improvement.
Work closely with network and firewall teams to ensure secure and efficient connectivity.

Required Skills & Experience

Minimum
5 years
in a relevant technical role within large organizations.
Strong hands-on experience with
Azure and/or AWS
cloud platforms.
Deep understanding of
CI/CD
,
GitOps
, and DevOps best practices.
Proficiency in
Spring Boot
,
NodeJS
,
Python
, and
microservices architecture
.
Expertise in
Linux
,
Windows OS
, and
IIS
.
Experience with
container image management
, including
distroless concepts
.
Strong knowledge of
networks
,
firewalls
, and
security protocols
.
Familiarity with
Agile methodologies
and
project management frameworks
.
Excellent
communication skills
– verbal, written, and presentation.

Preferred Qualifications

Experience in
Banking or Financial Services
domain.
Relevant certifications (e.g.,
AWS/Azure Certified
,
CKAD
,
Terraform Associate
).
Strategic mindset with a passion for
research and development
.
