DevOps & Network Administrator

Role Overview

We are seeking a motivated DevOps & Network Administrator with 3 to 5 years of hands-on experience in IT infrastructure, cloud platforms, and DevOps practices. This hybrid role blends responsibilities of network/system administration with DevOps engineering to ensure secure, reliable, and scalable IT operations and application deployments.

The ideal candidate has experience managing servers, networks, Active Directory, and virtualization platforms, while also supporting automation, containerization, CI/CD pipelines, and cloud infrastructure.

Key Responsibilities

DevOps Responsibilities

• Design, implement, and manage CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins, GitLab, or Azure DevOps.
• Containerize applications using Docker and orchestrate workloads with Kubernetes (AKS/EKS).
• Automate infrastructure provisioning with Terraform, Ansible, PowerShell, or Bash.
• Deploy and manage workloads in Azure or AWS cloud (VMs, networking, storage, monitoring).
• Monitor application performance and logs using Prometheus, Grafana, Azure Monitor, or ELK Stack.
• Integrate and manage code repositories (Git/GitLab), branching, and version control.
• Implement security best practices in pipelines (e.g., image scanning, secrets management).

Network / IT Administration Responsibilities

• Install, configure, and maintain Windows/Linux servers in hybrid environments.
• Manage Active Directory, Azure AD, DNS, DHCP, VPN, Group Policies, and IAM.
• Administer and troubleshoot LAN/WAN/VLAN, VPN, TCP/IP networking.
• Implement and oversee patch management using SCCM/WSUS or automation scripts.
• Manage virtualization platforms (VMware, Hyper-V, Citrix) for high availability.
• Provide L2/L3 support for server, network, and endpoint incidents, maintaining SLA compliance.
• Maintain endpoint and infrastructure security with tools like BitLocker, Symantec, Defender, CrowdStrike.
• Perform backup, disaster recovery, and server migration tasks.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams (Dev, QA, Security) to resolve infra-related issues.
• Maintain accurate technical documentation, SOPs, and compliance records.

Required Skills & Experience

• 3 to 5 years of combined experience in IT Infrastructure + DevOps.
• Hands-on with Windows/Linux server administration, AD, DNS, DHCP, VPN.
• Good understanding of networking protocols (TCP/IP, VLAN, routing, firewalls).
• Experience with containerization & orchestration (Docker, Kubernetes).
• Exposure to cloud platforms (Azure, AWS, or GCP).
• Experience with CI/CD pipelines ( Jenkins, GitLab, Azure DevOps).
• Scripting/automation experience: PowerShell, Bash, YAML, Terraform.
• Monitoring tools: Nagios, Prometheus, Grafana, Azure Monitor, ServiceNow.
• Familiarity with security practices (IAM, MFA, endpoint protection, patching).

Nice to Have (Good to Add if Available)

• Knowledge of infrastructure as code (IaC) with Terraform/Ansible.
• Familiarity with M365 administration (Exchange, Teams, SharePoint).
• Basic knowledge of logging/observability (ELK stack, Log Analytics).
• Certifications: AZ-104 (Azure Administrator), RHCSA, AWS Solutions Architect Associate, CCNA.
