DevOps Engineer

Role Overview: You have over 5 years of experience in Azure DevOps and possess good expertise in cloud computing platforms and scripting languages. Your strong knowledge of automation tools like Azure DevOps, Docker, and Terraform will be crucial in building and maintaining a resilient, secure, and efficient SaaS application platform to meet established SLAs. You are familiar with containerization, container orchestration, agile software development methodologies, version control systems, and GIT workflows. Your proficiency in the Microsoft Azure cloud platform will be essential for automating deployment, monitoring, management, and incident response. Key Responsibilities: - Build and maintain a resilient, secure, and efficient SaaS application platform primarily on the Microsoft Azure cloud to meet established SLAs. - Scale infrastructure dynamically to meet increasing demand and performance requirements. - Manage cross-functional requirements by closely collaborating with Engineering, Product, Services, and other departments. - Design, implement, and maintain robust CI/CD pipelines using Azure DevOps. - Automate deployment, monitoring, management, and incident response processes to enhance efficiency. - Develop automation scripts using various scripting languages and leverage automation tools like Azure DevOps, Docker, and Terraform. - Monitor site stability, performance, and resource utilization proactively. - Troubleshoot and resolve site issues and production incidents efficiently to minimize downtime. - Utilize monitoring and logging tools such as Grafana and Prometheus for system health and performance insights. - Implement and manage containerized applications with Docker and demonstrate knowledge of container orchestration platforms like Kubernetes. - Work effectively with version control systems, Git workflows, agile software development methodologies, and databases like PostgreSQL DB. - Have a basic understanding of networking concepts relevant to cloud infrastructure.
