DevOps Engineer

Key Responsibilities

• Manage and maintain CI/CD pipelines using

  Jenkins

  .
• Automate deployment, configuration, and provisioning tasks using

  Ansible

  .
• Perform build and dependency management with

  Maven/Gradle

  .
• Maintain and optimize source code repositories using

  Git

  and platforms like

  GitHub/Bitbucket

  .
• Work with

  SonarQube

  to ensure code quality, coverage, and security compliance.
• Manage artifacts and dependencies using

  Nexus

  repository.
• Create and manage Docker images and containers for application packaging.
• Collaborate with development and QA teams using

  Jira

  for tracking and project management.
• Monitor system performance and application health using tools like

  Graylog, Grafana, Splunk, Prometheus, or Nagios

  .
• Troubleshoot issues in build, deployment, and runtime environments.
• Assist in implementing best practices for automation, monitoring, and security.

Required Skills & Experience

• Linux:

  Strong proficiency in Linux commands and shell scripting.

• Version Control:

  Hands-on experience with

  Git

  .

• CI/CD Tools:

  Proficiency in

  Jenkins

  for pipeline automation.

• Build Tools:

  Experience with

  Maven/Gradle

  .

• Configuration Management:

  Strong knowledge of

  Ansible

  .

• Code Quality:

  Exposure to

  SonarQube

  .

• Artifact Management:

  Experience with

  Nexus

  .

• Containerization:

  Proficiency in

  Docker

  .

• Monitoring:

  Experience with any monitoring/logging tool (Graylog, Splunk, Grafana, Prometheus, Nagios, etc.).

Optional / Good to Have

• Kubernetes:

  Basic understanding of container orchestration.

• Terraform:

  Experience with Infrastructure as Code (IaC).

• Cloud Platforms:

  Familiarity with

  AWS / GCP / Azure
